Tight line presentations, albeit not a common term, are when the line to the lure is always taut, in other words always under tension with no introduced slack. Essentially the opposite of slack line presentation. A more common phrase to describe tight line presentation is horizontal presentations although they have different meanings. A tight line presentation differs from a tight lining, a phrase typically associated with the jig head minnow.
